Calathea Warscewiczii
Calathea Warscewiczii, aka Calathea Jungle Velvet, has decorative, dark green banding throughout the leaves and purple undersides, and take their colloquial namesake from the fuzzy, velvet like texture of their leaves, especially evident in the formation of new growth. It grows up to a meter high, by a meter wide, with patterned, lanceolate leaves. You also may notice its leaves will close up at night and reopen in the morning.
