Fern Leaf Begonia

Fern Leaf Begonia, aka Begonia Bipinnatifida, Fern Begonia, is a special species of Begonia that was first discovered growing in the high rocky environment in New Guinea. It gets its namesake due to the foliage looking more like a fern with its double-pinnate leaves. With deep crimson stems and leaf undersides, along with dark, metallic-like green leaf tops, the foliage on this plant is really striking and greatly appeals to the rare plant parent. It is known to need high temperatures and humidity to thrive, which makes it such a great terrarium plant grown under horticultural fluorescent lights.
