Nepenthes Albomarginata

Nepenthes Albomarginata, known as the White Collared Pitcher Plant, is a unique carnivorous species admired for its slender, elegant pitchers and distinctive white band just below the peristome. This band is made of fine hair like structures (trichomes) that attract insects, especially termites, into the trap. Pitcher colours can range from green to red or deep purple, but the signature white collar is always present, creating a striking contrast. Its name comes from Latin: albus (white) and marginatus (bordered), referring to this defining feature. Graceful and fascinating, it’s a must have for carnivorous plant enthusiasts.
