Philodendron McDowell
Philodendron McDowell is an aroid hybrid cross between Philodendron Gloriosum and Philodendron Pastazanum, in which the parent species are endemic to South America. Unlike other climbing Philodendrons, McDowells grow along the soil’s surface, so they never get very tall. Once mature, the leaves look slightly quilted or pleated and the giant, dark green, heart-shaped leaves are enhanced by prominent white veins, forming a distinguished, glamorous sight. With all the advantageous qualities of the two parent beauties, it grows with little effort and rarely causes problems.
